Since Easter, we have been as "busy as bees!" Ben and I spent a morning at the zoo- enjoying the butterflies, watching the bugs, petting the goats, and feeding the lorikeets. We had a wonderful playdate with Mary, Morgan, Landon, and Robert, complete with a cooking project- the kids got to make their own pretzels. Ben and I joined our friends from church at a fun teddy bear picnic at the creek. And Nathan, Ben, and I had a great night of fun at the castle, complete with a round of putt-putt golf and sprint car racing.

We've also been very busy in the garden. The new herbs and flowers that we added are growing beautifully. And all of the veggies which we're trying our hands at this year are looking good. Ben is so excited to peek in the garden every day to see what new things are popping up- from squash and zuccini to green beans and tomatoes.

And last, we've become a caterpillar hotel. In hopes of keeping my dill from getting eaten to the ground, we have taken in over twenty caterpillars to raise on some other of our other herbs. So far we've had several change into cocoons and have released four grown butterflies. It's quite a process to watch!
