What a great Christmas with Nathan’s family!
We spent Friday morning hanging out at the apartment. And then we headed to downtown San Antonio for our riverwalk adventure.
Everyone got all dressed up for our dinner at the Tower of the Americas. And it was spectacular! Between the delicious dinner, wonderful service, the boys’ excellent behavior, and the beautiful view, it was a great experience.
Then we walked the river to view all the Christmas lights. And then headed to the Hotel Valencia to open some presents and spend the night. The boys got several great gifts from Jenny and the grandparents (lego sets, plus a radio for Ben and a Buzz Lightyear and stuffed
dogs for Evan).
Yesterday, we spent the day visiting with more of Nathan’s family at Uncle Andy’s house and playing with all the new toys. After dinner at El Chaparral, I gave the boys their gifts from me (kids’ baking kits and Christmas cookbooks). And with aprons on, we spent the evening baking cookies for Santa and reading Christmas stories.
This morning the boys woke up to one HUGE stocking filled with eight lego kits, two kids’ cameras, a
Woody doll for Evan, and a monogrammed pocket knife for Ben. As we spent the morning putting together all the lego sets, I also made CUTE reindeer pancakes. And then we packed the boys up to head home with Granmom and Papa for a week!
What a great holiday! We hope you all had a joyous Christmas!!!
PS- Thank you, Larry, Debbie, and Jenny for all the great gifts for the boys. And THANK YOU so much for the Sea World season passes. Checked the schedule today… and can’t wait to take the boys when they re-open in February!

Thanks again for a wonderful night on the river. We loved it! Right now, the “boys” are bonding over Star Wars and I’m off to the grocery store.
You’re welcome!!! We had such a great time!

Adorable kids and pancakes (yum)!
So cute! We did the pancakes too… and figured it all out except for the white around the eyes. What did you use for that?
Cute! We made snowmen shaped pancakes. Will have to remember the reindeer next year. Merry Christmas!
Thanks, everyone! The boys loved their Christmas, all the new legos, and the pancakes.
The eyes were made with Reddi Whip and chocolate chips.
Thanks! My teens liked it, will try and remember them for next year.
Merry Christmas!
What an amazing Christmas!
But where were your parents?
Melissa, They just didn’t make it.
