Family time is the best time!
Last week… we spent Labor Day at home playing games, baking, and the boys wading in the pool. Marli, Robert, and baby Lillian stopped by for a great visit. And we celebrated our 8th anniversary with a wonderful meal from our Dream Dinners session.
Last weekend… we camped at Garner with my parents. We all had a wonderful time. On Saturday we spent the afternoon swimming and then played putt-putt golf. On Sunday, the boys went fishing (where Ben proceeded to catch his first fish ever!!! and then his second… and then his third!!!). And then we all hit the river again and tried out the rapids.
This past week… Evan and I attended our first MOPS meeting of this school year. And we began the semester of our music class. Evan was wonderful for both outings and really seemed to be tickled by the fun we had at our music class.
And this weekend… was spent getting ready for soccer and enjoying an afternoon at Fiesta Texas. Ben so enjoyed buying his soccer shoes and shin guards and getting to practice with Daddy. And he loved having both Nathan and I there to ride the rides at Fiesta Texas with him.
My one hope is that our boys always remember these days spent having fun as a family.
