Similarities/slight differences between my two pregnancies have led so many people to give me opinions about what they think about this next baby (”It’s a boy!” “It’s a girl!”)…
| BABY 1 | BEN |
| Week 5 | Found out we were pregnant on Father’s Day |
| Week 7 | Already started to feel very sick |
| Week 8 | String of bad days led to first ER visit (IV fluids, meds, and observation) |
| Week 12 | String of bad days led to second ER trip and admission to the hospital for a few days (IV fluids, meds, and observation) |
| Week 15 | More bad days and doctor ordered home health to come out to the house (IV fluids) |
| Week 17 | All better and ready for a wonderful pregnancy! |
| BABY 2 | ? |
| Week 5 | Found out we were pregnant just in time for my birthday |
| Week 6 | Already started to feel very sick |
| Week 11 | String of bad days led to visit to the urgent care clinic (IV fluids, meds, and observation) |
| Week 13 | String of bad days led to hospitalization for a couple of days (IV fluids, meds, and observation) |
| Week 16 | Another bad day just two days before Christmas, but recovered by Christmas Eve morning |
| Week 18 | A string of bad days landed me at the emergency clinic again (IV drugs and fluids) |
| Week 20 | Attempting to go off the meds led to another couple of bad days, but recovery was fairly quick |
Big difference though… with Ben, I don’t remember having any good days in between the really bad ones. I remember being camped out in bed and on the bathroom floor for two straight months, not being able to function much at all. But with this pregnancy, I am SO fortunate that I have some decent days to work, play with Ben, and try to be “normal”. So as I’ve said before- THANK GOD for good days!
