We recently celebrated several events, among some day-to-day fun…
We attended National Night Out, and had a great evening with our neighbors; I painted my old office and moved Ben’s room in (so we now have a guest room/play room, which he is so excited about); Ben and I spent a fun evening at Fiesta Texas, just the two of us; we attended a Rackspace bar-b-q and pool party and got to hang out with Nathan’s department; we also spent a great day at Fiesta Texas’ water park with Marli and Robert, letting the boys enjoy the water before the summer’s end.
And then it was time for the big events- we celebrated Shutter-Happy’s “grand opening” with an open house, with a fairly large crowd coming to view the new studio and to share the day with us; we attended the Mother’s Day Out’s open house and got to meet Ben’s teacher and fellow classmates; we had a blast at the Kendall County Fair’s parade and carnival (the $10 wrist band for Ben at the carnival was worth its weight in smiles and giggles); and last night Nathan and I got to have a nice dinner and watch a movie, to celebrate our seventh anniversary (funny how quickly those seven years have flown by).
And now we’re just looking forward to many more good times ahead and lots more reasons to celebrate!
