After lots of busy days of running errands, cleaning, playing in the backyard, enjoying snowcones at the creek, hiking at the nature center, enjoying music class, attending storytime, and spending mornings at Fiesta Texas, and spending some time at the pumpkin patch, we had some even bigger things in store for us!
And I guess it all started with my birthday weekend…First thing that happened was Myk showing up on our doorstep as a surprise for me! Then we spent the weekend attending the hot rod show and market days along Main Street; going out for italian for my b-day with Marli and Robert; even hitting downtown SA for great mexican food. And after I finished up an afternoon at a photography convention, we met up with my mom to attend the friends and family night at Bass Pro Shops. It was quite a show- with plenty of neat things to look at like their products, their taxidermy decorating the whole place, the waterfall and fish tank, and Papa working in his department. Fun!
And this weekend was a blast too! Marisa, Jayden, Jenny, and Sadie all came into town on Friday night. We spent the entire day Saturday at Sea World- watching the shows, riding rides, and enjoying the animals. And then before they left on Sunday, the kids got to enjoy some fun on the playground, riding bikes up and down the street, and baking chocolate chip cookies. And we were even able to squeeze in portrait sessions for Sadie and Jayden.
