Since the last article, Nathan has started participating in a martial arts class provided for the next couple of months through Rackspace and is really enjoying it. We were able to make it to the first Boerne Village Band concert this year and chicken-danced the night away. We then attended the annual Johnson/ LaCrosse family reunion that included lots of meals, games of Pictionary, wiffleball, reunion olympics, and lots more fun. We’ve enjoyed two days at Fiesta Texas with friends Mary and Morgan. Ben and Daddy loved going to the movies again and watching Cars. And we just had a great time at Berges Fest this past weekend. We enjoyed watching the parade (that almost got washed out), dancing to the bands, riding rides at the carnival, watching Ben race his way to the finish line in the little tractor races, and racing with Ben in the three-legged sack races. What fun!
Ben still loves to help with laundry and vacuuming, help Mommy pack her truck when it’s time to go to work, help dig holes for plants and water the gardens, and play with his hot wheels. He’s a speed demon on his new bike. He loves bringing in the mail, whether it’s for him or not (packages thrill him!). His favorite foods are sandwiches, pancakes, cereal, fruit snacks, corn, hamburgers, chicken nuggets, cheese, popsicles, and just about any fruit that you put in front of him. He is really excited about going to preschool this coming year and talks about it all the time. He still LOVES baths and has from time to time spent hours in the tub. He also loves singing and will belt out songs throughout our day. And he has his first imaginary friend (Stuart) who seems to be around all the time- at home, on trips, and on errands.
