What a year it’s been! What a blessing our little Ben has been!
Ben has done so much these last couple of months. He’s been on a camping trip (to Choke Canyon); helped his grandparents celebrate their birthdays; celebrated Valentine’s Day; had a playtime at the gymnastics center; made new friends; enjoyed a day at the stockshow; has learned a couple of fingerplays; has gotten in a couple more teeth; has started walking superbly; has learned and knows many words; and he even says a few words himself! He is certainly changing from our little “baby” into such a big “boy.” It’s wonderful to see the delight and amazement in his eyes as he learns new things every single day.
We celebrated his birthday with Angie and Myk on Wednesday by going out to Margarita’s for dinner and coming home for a cookie cake. And then we had his cowboy-themed party here in the backyard on Saturday. We couldn’t have asked for a better day. The weather was beautiful; lots of loved friends and family came; and even #19 showed up to entertain the kids. Thank you to everyone who was able to make it to share this special day. And thank you for all the gifts.
