Ben’s been busy as a bee the last two months! He has had his first smile and laugh; been talking up a storm; been out and about running errands; had two doctor’s visits; had his first cold; celebrated his first Easter; made his first trip to Corpus; made his first visit to church; had hundreds of pictures taken of him; and had all kinds of visitors come to see him. In the process of doing all of this, he has met almost his entire network of family and friends. Boy does everyone love this little boy!
Nathan’s big news was his promotion that he received a couple of weeks ago. He is now Rackspace’s Director of Online Operations- a title he most definitely deserves! Of course this means more work and less time with us, but he’s handling it well and enjoying it. He even got to hire two new Rackers who he’s very happy with.
I made a big decision lately. We had been struggling with the thought of me going back to work versus staying home with Ben. But looking at finances, day care would have taken up almost my entire pay check every week. So in Ben’s best interest, I have decided to stay home. I miss work tremendously, but I love that little angel more.
